8 But God commendeth His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by His blood, shall we be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

4 But God, being rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, 5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved).

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by His blood.
