TIMOTHY 3:15
15
but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves
in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

THESSALONIANS 1:2-8
2
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
3 remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience
of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father; 4 knowing,
brethren beloved of God, your election, 5 how that our gospel came not unto you
in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance;
even as ye know what manner of men we showed ourselves toward you for your
sake. 6 And ye became
imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with
joy of the Holy Spirit; 7 so that ye became an ensample to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. 8 For from you hath sounded forth the word of
the Lord, not only in Macedonia
and Achaia, but in every place your faith to God-ward is gone forth; so that we
need not speak anything.

CORINTHIANS 9:7-14
14
What soldier ever serveth at his own charges? Who planteth a vineyard, and
eateth not the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the
milk of the flock? 8 Do I speak these things after the manner of men? or saith
not the law also the same? 9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt
not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn. Is it for the oxen that God
careth, 10 or saith He it assuredly for our sake? Yea, for our sake it was
written: because he that ploweth ought to plow in hope, and he that thresheth,
to thresh in hope of partaking. 11 If we sowed unto you spiritual things, is it
a great matter if we shall reap your carnal things? 12 If others partake of
this right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this
right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of
Christ. 13 Know ye not that they that minister about sacred things eat of the
things of the temple, and they that wait upon the altar have their portion with
the altar? 14 Even so
did the Lord ordain that they that proclaim the gospel should live of the
gospel.
PHILIPPIANS
4:15,16
15 And ye yourselves also know, ye Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church had fellowship with me in the matter of giving and receiving but ye only; 16 for even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my need.
