HOW MANY CHURCHES DID JESUS CHRIST BUILD?

II Timothy 3:16, 17 – “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” (English Standard Version)

Matthew 16:18 - “And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” (American Standard Version) Notice, Jesus said “church”, singular!

Notice that the church, the kingdom, and the body are the same entity (study these words in your Bible)

Matthew 16:19 – “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.” (Amplified Bible)

Mark 9:1 – “And He said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There are some here of them that stand by, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power.” (American Standard Version)

Colossians 1:13 – “who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” (American Standard Version)

I Thessalonians 2:12 – “That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto His kingdom and glory.” (King James Version)

Ephesians 1:22, 23 – “And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of the One who fills all things in every way.” (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Notice that the Lord is only the Saviour of His one body, His church, His kingdom

Ephesians 4:4 – “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (King James Version)

Ephesians 5:23 – “For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and He is the Saviour of the body” (King James Version)

Notice how we get into the one body, the one church, the one kingdom of Jesus Christ

I Corinthians 12:12, 13 – “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit.” (American Standard Version)

THEN, TRY TO FIND A GROUP OF CHRISTIANS WHO ARE FOLLOWING THE NEW TESTAMENT PATTERN, WHICH INCLUDES WORSHIPPING GOD IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, AND FOLLOWING ONLY THE AUTHORITY IN THE NEW TESTAMENT CONCERNING THE CHURCH AND HOW IT IS TO FUNCTION, WITHOUT MIXING IN ANY DOCTRINES OR COMMANDMENTS OF MEN!
