If you do not espouse denominationalism, and
their concepts, that is wonderful! Then, you are truly seeking to be a 'true
worshipper'
May I ask you one other question. If you are not following any of the doctrines
and commandments of men, do you use mechanical instruments of music when you
worship God? If you are following denominational concepts (many of which have
come from the Catholic church), you will most probably be singing psalms,
hymns, and spiritual songs, with an additional music, a music that was not
authorized under the New Testament. If you study on the type of music used down
through the centuries, you will find that mechanical
instrumental music was not even used for the first few centuries, and certainly
not in the first century while the inspired apostles and prophets were on this
earth, being guided be the Holy Spirit.
The only music that you can find authorized under the New Covenant is vocal music:
Ephesians 5:18,19; Colossians 3:16. If God specifies something, then we cannot
add to that class. Nadab and Abihu found that out (Leviticus 10:1,2). What do
you think would have happened if Noah had used oak instead of gopher word?
I hope you have time to deal with these thoughts. thank you for corresponding
with me.
Yours in Christ,
David
