Many
today say that it doesn't matter what you do religiously, even when God
specified something! Please Go over these examples again:
Ø
God told
Nadab and Abihu where to get the fire to offer sacrifices unto Him, but they
decided to get it from somewhere else! Notice what happened to them for
changing God's Word around and adding to it when He had specified something: LEVITICUS 10:1,2.
Ø
Moses
didn't get to go into the promised land because he added to God's Word by
hitting the rock instead of just speaking to it, thus not sanctifying God
before the people: NUMBERS 20:7-12.
Ø
King
Saul changed God's commands around by not doing ALL that he was commanded, and
thus he lost his kingdom: I SAMUEL 15:22,23.
Ø Uzzah touched the Ark of God to keep it
from falling off the ox cart, which violated a Law of God: II SAMUEL 6:6,7; (See NUMBERS
4:15,18-20). He
might have been sincere in trying to keep the Ark of God from falling off, but
sincerity doesn't null out the Word of God! We must understand that God's will
is All-important, much more important than what WE might think is right, or
proper!
